Over the years our dogs have not only been ranked among the top English Setters in the show ring in both Canada and USA – but they have also achieved countless titles in other competitive events such as Rally, Obedience and Hunt Tests!
PUPPIES!
At Sunsetter, we raise our puppies in our home, with extensive socialization and innovative training practices. Our puppies go to their “fur-ever” homes very often house trained at just eight weeks old!
We do extensive health testing on all of our dogs to ensure we are breeding the most healthy dogs, including BAER hearing testing, thyroid testing, OFA hip and elbow clearances and more.
Your puppy purchasing experience with Sunsetter will be much different than anything you have ever experienced, we keep our puppy people involved extensively right through the entire process, including weekly video updates and FaceTime/Skype calls right from the whelping box!

Summer is over…
Wow, time flies when you are having fun. All the Slide X Renee kids are doing great in their new homes... Pippa comes a few times a week to hang out with the crew at Camp Sunsetter, and her and Dash are really maturing nicely. Nadeen and I travelled to Long Sault, ON...

Seven week old puppies…
Sorry for the missed week, we travelled 20 hours roundtrip to Saskatoon to get the puppies BAER tested, and we are happy to announce that all four were BAER normal! The litterbox training proved to be a HUGE asset, as the puppies never messed once all the way there...
5 week old pics…
The kids were 5 weeks old yesterday, and we had a visit from future puppy owners Sheena & Dustin - so out came the camera. Enjoy...
4 weeks old and playin hard
It's hard to believe four weeks have gone by. Last night might have been the first night we actually didn't have to get up... thankfully to the "big puppy food" LOL. Kids are spending lots of time outside, and they are crusing big time. All the teeth are in - OUCH!...
